Spending Categories and Rules in Crescent 360

This guide provides a step-by-step approach to effectively manage spending categories and rules within Crescent 360, helping users streamline their financial tracking. By following the instructions, individuals can categorize their transactions accurately, making budgeting easier and enhancing their financial oversight. It’s an essential resource for anyone looking to optimize their expense management and gain better control over their spending habits.

1. Access the spending tab by clicking on “Spending”

2. You can filter to specific spending categories by clicking on the graph or can review all transactions by clicking on the Transactions tab.

3. The search box can be used to look for specific transactions.

4. To edit the category of a specific transaction, click on it to open the editor window.

5. Click the Category drop box and select an appropriate option from the list. Then click Apply.

6. If you would like all transactions with this description to be categorized with the category you selected, add the rule by clicking on Save Rule.

7. You can review your spending rules under the Spending Settings page. Click “Spending Settings”.

8. Create new sub categories under the Categories tab.

9. Review your existing category rules under the categories tab. Click on a rule to view and edit the existing rule.

10. Click “Done” to save your rule changes.
